Flat Tire Beer Bread


Ingredients
3 Cups all-purpose flour (see note)
3 tsp. baking powder
3/4 tsp. salt
3 TB. sugar
1 12-oz. bottle beer (pretty much any beer will work), room temperature
1/4-1/2 tsp. GRANULATED GARLIC POWDER, optional
1-2 tsp. HERBS (PARSLEY, SAGE, ROSEMARY or THYME) or your favorite HERB BLEND, optional
Directions
Preheat oven to 350°. In a large bowl, combine all of the ingredients and mix well. Spoon into a greased 4 1/2x8 1/2-inch loaf pan. Bake at 350° for 1 hour. Serve warm.

Baking time: 60 minutes

Cooks Notes
You may substitute 3 Cups of self-rising flour for the all-purpose flour, omitting the baking powder and salt, which makes this recipe even easier!
