Creamed Corn

40 cobs of corn
1 lb salted butter
1 pint Half & half
1/4 cup sugar (I left out)
salt & pepper to taste - (I did about 1 tsp salt and approx the same of pepper)

Don't cook corn on cob. Just strip cobs and put corn in roaster. Add ingredients. Then bake uncovered for 1 hour at 350 degrees stirring frequently (every 15 min.) Can do in oven or roaster.

Bag in freezer bags to enjoy later....

Made about 16 cups.
