1 lb green beans (ends snapped off, but leave in one long piece)
1/4 cup vegetable or peanut oil ( I used canola)
Sauce:
2 TBSP soy sauce
2 TBSP water
1 TBSP sherry ( I used merlot) if no wine on hand could leave out I think
1-2 packets Splenda or 1 TBSP sugar
1 tsp corn starch ( I have left this out also and works fine)
Heat oil very hot in wok or fry pan- stir fry beans til they just start to shrivel a bit on the outside. Remove them onto a paper towel. Pour oil from pan (you can save it and reuse). Pour sauce into pan, when hot (just a minute or less) add beans, heat through and serve. Yummy
