1 German chocolate cake mix
1 bag of caramels
1/2 c. margarine
1/3 c. milk
6 oz. chocolate chips
walnuts
Mix cake as directed. Pour 1/2 batter into 9x13 pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 min.
Then pour melted caramel, milk and margarine mixture over hot cake.
Sprinkle with chocolate chips and nuts.
Spread remaining batter on top and Bake 20 min at 250 degrees, then 10 min at 350 degrees.
