I substitute for 3/4 c. honey (1/8 c. splenda and 1/4 c. honey)
Also sometimes for onion I uses 2 tsp. of dried chopped onion.
Instead of using blender I just mix in btle and shake. Or could use a bowl and whisk.

With the recipie as listed we like more vinegar. So add about 2/3 c. for more kick that may make you cough - less sweetness!

For Low carbers like me, you can use all splenda or equal (an equiv. amt to 1/2 c. sugar) When I serve it at my house or bring somewhere, everyone seems to like it just as well as with the high calorie sweeteners like honey or sugar. Ruth
