Strawberry Slush

7 c. water
3 c. sugar
2 c. water and 4 tea bags
1 c. cranberry juice
1-6 oz. can frozen orange juice
1-6 oz. can frozen lemonade
1 pt. frozen or fresh strawberries


Boil 7 c. water with sugar for 1 min., then cool.
Brew tea in 2 c. boiling water, 5 min., cool.
Blend cranberry, orange juice, lemondae, and strawberries. Add to cooled sugar water/tea mixture.
Freeze in a large ice cream pail.
Serve 2 scoops in glass with ginger ale.

Substitutions:In place of 3 c. sugar - 1c. sugar/1c. honey or when using sweetened strawberries - 3/4 c. sugar/3/4 c. honey.
