RaeAnn's Apple Crisp

For 8" x 8" pan. (6 apples)
1/2 c. sugar
2 tsp. lemon juice
1/4 c. water
Mix together & pour over apples sliced in pan.
Crust:
1/2 c. sugar
3/4 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
6 Tbsp. butter/margarine
Blend together til crumbly and put on top of apples.
Bake at 375 degrees for 40 - 45 minutes.

For 9 x 13" pan: (12 apples)
1c. sugar
4 tsp. lemon juice
1/2 c. water
Crust:
1 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
3/4 c. butter/margarine
